Special Projects
The GURA Hydro power Project: This was the first project of its kind in KTDA. This small-scale hydroelectric plant, implemented in conjunction with KTDA, Gathuthi Tea Factory and neighboring factories like Gitugi, Iriaini, and Chinga, now ensures the complete energy independence of the factory.
Corporate Social Responsibility
By providing fair-trade resilience support, the factory is empowering local farmers to cultivate high-quality avocado seedlings. This initiative has contributed to increased income, improved food security, and strengthened the local economy.
